Well, I have to say that this movie really doesn't have a lot of content. A little boy, TJ, met a hooligan when he was extremely confused in his life, and a lot of things happened that the little boy couldn't understand. There is no hero, no epic, not even a complete ending; the time span is short, Hesher comes and goes in a hurry, and at the end there is only one sentence left, "Hesher was here", which is a film.
Spoiler as usual, otherwise the central idea cannot be expressed. A sudden car accident destroyed a family (whether it was directly destroyed by the car accident is to be discussed). Dad started taking drugs. The son couldn't pass this threshold, but he also got into trouble with the hooligans such as the bully and Hesher. Since then, he has been bullied and despised, and he also fell in love with the hard-pressed salesperson in the supermarket. But after all, I am a child, and I still don't know how to deal with these things. Then, as his unkind big brother, Hesher taught TJ a lot of things by example: graffiti, burning cars, sex with women. In a word, do what you want, don't be timid, don't be hypocritical. When TJ was pressed in the toilet by the bully, Hesher didn't help him, it was really not interesting, when the meaning was obvious: You are being bullied, you have to learn to resist yourself.
Don't blame me, but I like to keep things simple: the whole film is a metal party telling you with his actual actions: "Don't be so hypocritical! What about less eggs? We are still pure men, dare to think. Dare to do it, the earth turns!" This is also the part that resonates with me the most, because it is the quality of the metal party. Just imagine, if Hesher wasn't such a deviant metal party, would he be able to pull their family out of the quagmire?
"You lost your wife. You lost your mother. I lost my nut." The
music is slightly less, but after all, it is not a rock film, it is an "inspirational film", don't ask too much. Hesher listening to "Rock out" driving part is cool!
