At the end of the film, Ethan Edward took his own niece, Debbie, who was kidnapped by the Indian tribe, to the Jorgensen's house. Martin and Lori of the Jorgenson's family were reconciled as before, which made people feel relieved. Although there are evil people among the white people described in the film, most of them are kind. They raised the Indian orphan Martin and became a man who loves his adoptive parents and sister deeply; Killing, maiming ordinary white families, and cutting off human scalps for jewelry. Come to think of it, these descriptions in the film are based on historical facts, but the North American continent was originally owned by Indians, and now only Indiana and other places have reservations where Indians live and live. Is this a debt to the Indians? Although, in 2010, the US government made an apology to the Indians.

The Dark Portal is too timeless, the soundtrack is good, and the racial thinking is a little bit. Others seem to be comedy, but they don't seem boring at all, and there are many things that I don't understand. Ethan's transformation didn't even pave the way. Everyone is a blind racist. The only light of humanity is probably Martin, who has Indian blood, but he also kicked the look violently. The most sympathetic is Debbie. I thought people were all idiots.

Conflict is still created through the cultural differences between whites and Indians, but the author is more from a neutral point of view, weakening the blood and killing. This should not be a typical Western, although there are duels, but the final scuffle is full of comedy rather than heroism. Ethan is destined to be a loner, with an arrogant character, tough will and full of wisdom, and more importantly, affection and righteousness. In comparison, Martin is much simpler. The film is full of drama, which is also the key to the success of the film.

  • [Reverend Clayton delivers a prayer at the Edwards' funeral for Aaron, Martha, and Ben]

Ethan: Put an amen to it!

Reverend Clayton: I ain't finished yet.

Ethan: There's no more time for praying! AMEN!

  • Brad: There's only one way you can stop me from looking for Lucy, mister, and that's kill me!

Martin: That's the way I feel, Uncle Ethan

    [Edwards glares at him]

    Martin: Ethan... Sir.

Ethan: Alright, but I'm giving the orders here. I'm giving the orders and you'll follow 'em, or we're splitting up right here and now!

Martin: Well, sure, Ethan. Just one reason were here, ain't it, is to find Debbie and Lucy?

    Ethan: If they're still alive.
