After a year of study, he expected to receive an admission letter from the University of Notre Dame every semester, but was again and again disappointed. Rudy can only put his unwillingness on the field and continue to perform physical training on himself. He sees the retreat in the library every day before leaving, but he still can't see the way forward. Finally, he is angry.
