Just a Robot?

A strange old man with forgetfulness and a kleptomania, an obedient and intelligent robot. This is the story of a man and a robot, this is the story of a home.
Robot has never had a name, but it has long since become a person. It helps Frank do everything it thinks is good for his health, even being the best partner for stealing. It doesn't care if the memory is cleared, because to it, as long as Frank is good, it's fine. But how does it know that Frank has long regarded it as a friend, and the most precious thing among friends is not the memory of the good, even the little evil? So in the end, when Robot was cleared of memory, it was paralyzed in Frank's arms. The movie did not render the tragic atmosphere of this section like the Terminator, but under the calm appearance, I saw Frank in a trance, he knew, he Best friend, gone. So then, he said, go see the tomatoes that Robot grows. So later, when he saw a robot that looked like Robot in the hospital, he lost his mind again. I know Frank will always miss his best friend.
At the same time, Robot seemed to reconnect the Frank family, and when Frank found out that the librarian was his wife, they kissed affectionately, and I was already in tears. At the end, the family gets along in harmony, and Frank also chooses to go to the rehabilitation center. It seems that everything has returned to the most plain and beautiful.
But what about that Robot? It's gone, but why do I miss it so much? I miss how cute it was when it was stealing in black, how annoying it was when it woke up Frank at 7am, how stupid it was when it looked up at Frank, how smart it was when it lied that it was going to detonate itself... oh, Yes, it may still be there, always in my heart.
Just a Robot? No, He is Frank's friend, he's our friend.
