This movie is not a chicken soup movie

In my impression, Kevin Costner's sentence is very impressive, sometimes I'm up, sometimes I'm down, it all comes out in the end. [Sometimes I am passionate, sometimes I am lost and confused, but the days are still living]. It seems to reflect an ancient Chinese poem, a thousand sails pass by the side of a sinking boat, and a thousand trees spring ahead of a sick tree. The new force leaps past the old, advancing with unstoppable force. I have never studied economics, and my understanding of the film is limited to the level of interpersonal and social relations. However, as long as it is a movie that can make people unable to stop typing on the keyboard after watching it, and can't help writing a personal movie review, it can still be regarded as a relatively good movie.

This film does not intend to deeply analyze the economic situation or the moral relationship between the company and its employees. It is just a small cheer for the fate of individuals who are powerless in the financial turmoil. In this regard, it is relatively successful.

So many good actors are wasted by stories like this. . .

The Company Men quotes

  • Jack: How go the suit wars, Bobby?

    Bobby Walker: All right, Jack.

Jack: Move any more high-paying American jobs offshore to Asian shitholes this week?

Bobby Walker: Mostly focused on union busting now; you know how it is.

  • Bobby Walker: [on phone] Hi, Sally. Bob Walker. Uh, thanks for not returning any of my phone calls. If you do return my call, I would love to know why you fired me without any notice, you fucking, cowardly bitch.

Danny: Gee, I wonder why she never calls you back.

Bobby Walker: Feels good though. God.
