Director, let's talk about life

I have been accumulating the new theatrical version for a long time. I didn't expect to watch the second part and I don't want to watch it anymore.
Anyway, I can't talk about life with the director, and I'm done complaining.

In any case, the broken Asuka is the most unbearable.
What is Asuka like? She is a proud person.
Countless times she had to support herself in front of others, even if anyone could hear what she said in her heart, she insisted on using those paranoid words that were almost annoying as the last line of defense to protect herself.
Driving the No. 2 machine, she staged a crazy and almost runaway final battle, and she finally regained her dignity in an all-round way after experiencing a low ebb.
The scene of the bright red No. 2 machine collapsing backwards when the power was exhausted and being shot by the gun of Longinus was almost the most shocking scene in the whole article.
And then the No. 2 machine, which was nibbled up, was still struggling to reach out to the sun. Asuka was still gnashing her teeth and saying that she wanted to kill them all, but was firmly fixed there by several Longinus spears.
That is the highest pride and the deepest hurt, the collision is indescribable.

In "Broken", the character Asuka is as thin as a piece of paper.
Even if you look at her as a completely new character, she has almost nothing except the attributes of Tsundere & Girl Huaichun.
Even if it is a new character Mary who has the same role, although she is still elusive, at least people remember her enthusiasm for fighting.
And this made me even more sad, because when Marie was talking to Shinji that there were still people who wouldn't want to drive an eva, I felt like the director was taking another thing off the (old) Asuka.
Coupled with the scene of going to Shinji's room at night, I know that it is impossible for such a vulnerable Asuka to reproduce the shock and emotion in the original work.
In conclusion, probably everyone who likes (old) Asuka can't watch this one.

Not only Asuka, but other characters are still outrageous.
The charm of the original work largely lies in the ambiguity and blank space that you cannot see through at a glance.
Here I am not referring to religion and metaphors of the nature of background knowledge, but to the greatest theme of the original, love.
The love contained in the original work is very broad, there is the love between parents and children, there is forbearance and long-term love, there is a girl's secret love, and there is an unclear relationship between the male and female protagonists.

In the emotional line of the original work, Ling Bo has always been in a very delicate role.
She was made by Yuandu with Wei as the blueprint, entrusting Yuandu's yearning for Wei, and she herself felt Yuandu cherished her, so she kept Yuandu's glasses all the time.
Even when she blew herself up to save Shinji, the last person she appeared in front of her eyes was still Yuandu.
In the process of contacting Shinji, I believe that she did not have a good impression of Shinji for a long time, or any special feelings.
Even in the end, her protection and support for Shinji came from a mother-like stance.
Shinji also mentioned more than once that Ling Bo smelled like a mother.
This leads me to believe that her character setting is more like a freshman Yui.
Although in essence, Lilith's soul should be entrusted in Ling Bo's body, not the only one, but this does not violate harmony, because Lilith is the mother of human beings.

But in this theatrical version, it's all ruined.
Lingbo became a little girl who was moved to sacrifice for her just because Shinji cared about her food.
The glasses disappeared, and it became a Walkman. Lingbo's feelings for Yuandu also disappeared, and it became a passion to make Shinji happy.
Although I have never been cute by Ling Bo's mute or bandage settings, I am still amazed at who is this person who learns to cook?
If it is said that Ling Bo fell in love with Shinji because of his lack of love, then when did Shinji have such feelings for Ling Bo that he would swear to save her?
Many people say that the final outbreak represents Shinji's growth.
But I want to say that it shouldn't be for the growth of this little love.
If there is only such a little height, eva is really too far away from the title of God.
And if it is the real growth as a character, can you please make some preparations earlier and correct some of his cowardice?
Since we want to create new characters and new personalities, why should we copy the plot completely in "Preface"?
The last hug can only be said to satisfy some people's YY.
It's not for Asuka's injustice, but I want to say that talking about CP in eva or standing in line for CP is an insult.

4 stars for the first time in the eva series.
The word "broken" is really the essence of this theatrical version. Not only are all the characters fragmented, all the blank spaces are broken, and many fans of the original work have broken dreams.
In this way, most people can understand it, but I doubt it is still eva.
I saw some people who have only seen the new theater department commented that they heard that it was a masterpiece, but had never seen it before, and after reading this, I realized that it turned out to be a harem film after peeling off the shell.
It's very sad, because I can't refute it.
When I mention that I like eva in the future, do I have to add a qualifier, the original eva?

But even this theatrical version, to be honest, is still much better than too many animations.
The production level is still there, even if there are more complaints, I still can't bear to give it less than four stars.
Just a sigh, there is no more divine work.

In fact, regarding the original work, I have always felt that whether or not I can understand it, or how much I understand it, is secondary.
As long as you read it carefully, no matter how many messages you receive, it's normal to have mixed reviews.
But there is a class of people who not only can't understand it themselves, but also clamor that they don't need to understand, and even scolded that too many people dig too deep, and the one who understands is SB.
Similar to the claim that nostalgia is good, just look at the picture, who cares about the plot.
Probably because of the existence of such people, the new theatrical version has really been lowered to this level for them.
This may also explain why many geniuses gradually become ordinary people.
I really don't believe anyone who understands the original would say that such a hodgepodge is the real completion.
It is placed in a fan, and it is considered a very bad fan.

Likewise, Director, I don't know you anymore.
