Temple's Magic Illustration

There are many stories about autistic patients, but in this story, I experienced a magic show without prelude, but it made people cry instantly.
The performance shows a collection of colorful pictures with light and shadow of a weak and small living being growing stronger and stronger. The protagonist's name is Temple, and her actions are not limited by her scientific achievements and personal experiences, as she tells her best friend at the end of the story, and doing them makes her happy. It does not need to be understood by most people, as long as one person can benefit from it, it is enough. Her actions are accompanied by her positive attitude, like a child belonging to the stars, kind and shining.
Being held back by fear of the unknown is a feeling that all able-bodied humans experience. Temple, a girl with congenital autism, gradually found her own way of life in the process of growing up, that is: looking at the world in another way and drawing different conclusions. Just like every close-up picture in the film: Temple gently strokes the fur of horses and cows; listens quietly to the teacher explaining the ultimate destination of life; slowly stretches out the weak arm that can guide the blind girl; opens the door of every self-suggestion After that kind of contented smile...
The presence of love brought by family, friends, teachers, awakened her compassion and care, scientific practice and her own continuous efforts, gave her the opportunity to change her destiny. Temple, who belongs to the disadvantaged group, never feels tired. She is just a little scared after encountering setbacks. You give her a little friendly encouragement, and she will still move forward proudly.

Temple Grandin quotes

  • [Temple tries to leave the funeral]

    Eustacia: Temple, are you alright?

    Temple Grandin: I'm leaving now.

    Eustacia: It isn't over yet.

Temple Grandin: I said goodbye when I saw him, he isn't there. I've got him in my mind.

  • Eustacia: I have done everything that I can for Temple, and if it isn't good enough, then it just isn't good enough. But you cannot even begin to imagine the chaos, the upheavals, the tantrums and the pain.

    [emphasis]

    Eustacia: Her pain.

Dr. Carlock: You seem to be acting as if you have done something wrong, when it's obvious you've done everything right. I think she's terrific.
