Fist of Fury (1972)

This film is a Chinese film of the 2005 Hong Kong Film Awards Association The 16th installment of Parkn's best.

This is a movie about the fictional character Chen Zhen avenging his master and showing Chinese kung fu. It's boring. So when I watched this movie, I watched it while playing on my phone, it was so boring. Therefore, the plot summary of this film is copied from Wikipedia:

During the early years of the Republic of China in the 20th century, Chen Zhen returned to the Jingwu Pavilion in the Japanese Concession in Shanghai to go to the funeral for his master Huo Yuanjia, and planned to marry his childhood sweetheart. Although the doctor said that Huo Yuanjia died of a stomach illness and a cold, all the disciples in the Jingwu Academy had doubts, and Chen Zhen vowed to find out the truth.

At Huo Yuanjia's public sacrifice ceremony, Hu Yi led two members of the Japanese Hongkou Dojo (judo hall) to provoke and presented a plaque with the words "Sick Man of East Asia". Brother stopped.

Chen Zhen was unwilling to be humiliated by his master and did not tell all the brothers and sisters. He sent the plaque back to Hongkou Dojo alone. One person defeated the warriors in the field with Mizong Fist and nunchakus. " paper. Leaving the dojo and walking to the park, I saw a sign saying "Dogs and Chinese are not allowed inside". I had another argument with other Japanese, and even kicked the sign in the air.

Suzuki Kuan sent a large number of people to retaliate, went to the Jingwu Museum to beat him, and asked the martial arts hall to hand over Chen Zhen.

After Chen Zhen returned to the museum, he was ready to leave Shanghai under the persuasion of everyone. But that night, Du Sheng found Chef Tian and Steward Feng, and heard that Huo Yuanjia had been poisoned and had something to do with a "Mr. Hu", and found out that Chef Tian was Japanese. He killed the two of them, hung their bodies on a telephone pole, and left the martial arts gym. Later, the younger sister found Chen Zhen at Huo Yuanjia's cemetery and reminded him that Mr. Hu might be Hu's translator.

Interpreter Hu gave Suzuki an idea and put pressure on the patrol room to arrest Chen Zhen. After watching the geisha striptease with Suzuki and the Russian Axe Party leader Pirov, Interpreter Hu left in a rickshaw, but the driver was disguised as Chen Zhen and was pulled into a dead end. Under the intimidation, Interpreter Hu said that Suzuki Hiro was the mastermind behind the scenes; Interpreter Hu waited for an opportunity to sneak attack, but was beaten to death by Chen Zhen instead. Chen Zhen then destroyed the telephone line connecting the Hongkou Dojo, and pretended to be a repair mechanic to sneak into the Dojo to investigate the truth.

That night, the junior sister took the senior brother and several others to Huo Yuanjia's cemetery, but they couldn't find Chen Zhen. Just after the Hongkou Dojo dispatched the senior team to disguise themselves and leave with knives, Chen Zhen broke into the dojo alone and killed a group of warriors. After a fierce duel, he killed Pirov and Suzuki Kan.

When the senior brother and others returned to the Jingwu Hall, they found that a group of disciples had been slaughtered and were almost wiped out. The Japanese consul urged the patrol room to go to the Jingwu Pavilion to have people. Chen Zhen returned to the museum, in order to avoid the closure of the Jingwu Pavilion, he stood up to pay for his life, walked out of the gate and kicked a volley against a group of gunmen...

I can't watch this movie, because the plot is not particularly suspenseful. As if I were the screenwriter, I can only guess how the film will develop! This is too much to say! Although this is a movie in the 1970s, it cannot always perfunctory audiences with old scenes such as revenge and prestige. The director may think that the kung fu of this film is a major attraction, but I don't feel it, and compared with the action design of modern movies, Bruce Lee's kung fu is terrible. All in all, this movie is unwatchable, not because it's hard to understand, but because there's nothing appealing about it.

But the most unacceptable thing about the movie is the hero Chen Zhen. This character is a failure. In short, he doesn't look like a positive character at all. First of all, he was cruel. In order to avenge Huo Yuanjia, he would kill anyone. Many innocent people died under his hands, so there was no need to kill them all. Secondly, his hands are hot, and every action seems to take someone's life. Don't he know that the other party is also a human being, so he should be more polite? Even in order to get revenge, you don't need to be so ruthless, you can learn a few lessons. Third, his face is stinky, as if everyone owes him something, he doesn't smile to his senior brothers and ordinary people, and his face is even more fierce when he treats Japanese people. He doesn't look like a righteous and good person at all, but a Heinous bastard. Combining these three points, it can be said that Chen is really a very annoying guy. He is stubborn, extreme, irritable, hot-tempered, and kills without blinking. He is simply a vicious person. How can he become a national hero? What a piece of shit! So, I feel uncomfortable looking at Bruce Lee's face, why would anyone like such a person?

The filming is very stereotyped, and the whole process of the hero Chen Zhen's revenge is recorded like a running account, and there is nothing unique about it. In addition, the director of this film is also very obscene. In order to show the greatness of Chinese kung fu and reflect the national spirit, he even made up such a film, and it can become a classic, which is incredible! It seems that not only the director of this film can't face the reality, but the audience also likes to immerse in this kind of obscenity.

The actors in this film have nothing to say, because the actor Bruce Lee's acting skills are too bad. His expression is not rich, and his emotions are single. The most important thing is why he screams when he fights. It's really funny! Although these have become Bruce Lee's signature, but I do not appreciate, very strange performance style. Others are ordinary, not much to say. In addition, Miao Kexiu is a big vase with very few scenes and is not worth mentioning.

in conclusion. It's a terrible movie, with a pointless plot, lewd themes, and bad characterization, and it has all its strengths and weaknesses. Even the "Kung Fu" set by the director is quite ordinary. So, I can't figure out how this movie can become a classic!
