who is the father, who is the son, who is the father, who is the son

One of the must-see videos of this NZIFF. Any professional analysis of the film from a professional point of view does not prevent the sincere emotion of the film from making us burst into tears. After watching the movie, I was habitually looking for the lack of works, but I couldn't find any flaws. This is such a beautiful, heartfelt film, an absolute Masterpiece.

A jealous act of folly by a hospital nurse connects two families from completely different classes. In the entanglement between family and blood, class concepts, ideology, life attitude and life experience, etc., have violent collisions between the two families. In fact, the heart of the hero Ryota is shaken. In the end, it was the son's pure emotion that helped his father complete the biggest mission in his life. In the end who is the father, who is the son, what is the father (mother), what is the son, how to be the father (mother), how to be the son.

Compared with last year's "I wish", I personally think Kore-eda Hirokazu's "Like Father, Like Son" this year is perfect. The storytelling is delicate, restrained, and sincere. Many people compare him with Ozu to criticize this work. I think it is not very objective to compare the directors of the two eras. Moreover, as a director who has returned to the traditional narrative or has never left the traditional narrative, this work is by no means inferior to Ozu. This is my different point of view.

The four paragraphs of Diaosi's father in the film impressed me deeply and expressed the true meaning of the whole film. It probably means:
1. When it comes to his relationship with the child, he says "it's all about time".
2. When Ryota says he is busy and has important work to do. He said: "But no one can do your work as his father."
3. When Royta brought a lawsuit to change his son, he said: "You never lost anything before."
4. When Ryota mentioned that when he was a child, his father never brought Fly a kite yourself. He said: "You can choose not to be a father like him."

For such a film, there is really not much to say, just walk into the theater, watch this warm and touching story, and turn everyone's own life insights into sincere tears, dedicated to the director, to yourself, and to life .

Kore-eda Hirokazu brought us this "Like Father, Like Son" with such subtle observations and insights into life. I would like to thank you with a poem of my own.

Love is like clouds and rain.
Then the
more violent it is
, the more it should be dropped.
