It is the classic British comedy which depicts the mediocre lives of some folk. It's sometimes sarcarstic but always funny. It can make you laugh and meanwhile think a lot. The series is not similar with TBBT, although I think TBBT is also extraodinary. They are different and they both deserve people's love.
I should say I really like the actress who plays Jen. By the way, she also turns up in my favorite drama called Sherlock, although she plays a cruel bitch there. Anyway that also demonstrates her good capability of acting, doesn't t it?
If you feel not very well, or you are depressed, I strongly recommend you to go see the series since the time costed per episode is only 20 minutes and, more importantly, it's really interesting!
