Blanche Rickey (played by Harrison Ford) has a very sophisticated performance, and his references to the Bible are quite classic. . Jackie Robinson (played by Chadwick Boseman) is a black athlete who is a little sluggish, and maybe that's his nature. .
The whole movie is relatively straightforward, without so many beating around the bush and adding fuel to the wind. It is just a biographical movie, and it is highly recommended to watch it.
