unapproachable western free spirit

The cartoon "My Little Pony" first appeared when I was in the first grade of elementary school. For more than 10 years, I have watched her at least 20 times. I am very familiar with every scene, every monologue, every soundtrack. The countless scenes in this film have made the horses I draw today. As the only movie I've seen more than twice, today, I don't know how many times I watched her again, and the idea of writing and feeling came into being.

Originally it was very contradictory, just like people who like to eat don’t like to share, and the rarest movies don’t want to be analyzed, shared, or used to write movie reviews. However, the deep experience of "seeing something different every time I look at it" is really hard to hide.

Needless to say, "My Little Pony King" is a cartoon about a free soul and a will to never give in. I believe that children who grow up watching this cartoon will live beautifully. The most impressive thing was being taken to the army's base in the west. The first time I saw the tamed horses walking in a uniform formation, that moment was really shocking. There is also the spirit of liberating the horses that pull the locomotive, and all the horses are free to run to their homes again, and that moment is very moving.

In addition, this cartoon also reflects the history of conquering the West through this incident. From the very beginning of the film, the monologue said, "As for whether the West has been conquered, you have to judge for yourself." The colonel also said "there is no wild horse that cannot be tamed" when taming spirit, just like there is no land that cannot be developed. However, it was this wild horse that was missed by millions of soldiers, and finally agreed to let the indigenous Ogawa ride. The film implicitly satirizes the recklessness, ignorance, and failure of the foreign army/developer.

In the film, spirit's attitude towards Xiaochuan has changed greatly. From the perspective of the plot, spirit first saved Xiaochuan's life from the colonel. In order to "repay" it, Xiaochuan embarked on a long journey to find it, and finally took it from him. After being rescued from the sea of fire, Spirit "repaid" the life-saving grace. After Xiaochuan was shot in the ankle, he resolutely decided to let him ride on its back and escape the colonel's pursuit...

However, how can wild horses and indigenous creatures, who coexist with nature, "repay" because of "life-saving grace"? In their worldview, there is no such clear division of kindness, only "if you are good to me, I will be good to you". The first time Ogawa let it go and let it go home, it no longer held any hostility towards him. It wanted to go home, and he let it go home, which was saving its life and explaining the spirit's later behavior as a horse. It finally allowed him to mount, also because it knew that even if he rode on its back, it would not lose its freedom.

Spirit is probably a fictitious horse, and if it weren't, it's already out of this world. But as said in the film, it represents the entire herd, the entire West, and all the unyielding souls and spirits. It's not just spirits that don't die, not just the West, but the spirits of the West.

The perfect fusion of 2d animation and 3d technology. The soundtrack is wonderful. When the horses run, the music is played. The scene is quite spectacular. There is no DreamWorks iconic spoof (the iconic dazzling skills still exist). See the last pony The king and the Indians embraced each other, and I unconsciously matched it with you, wind and sand, and found that these last few minutes were completely filmed for this song.
