Classic and deep meaning are more than just a royal affair

Studying politics, I can't help but connect movies and politics. It may be deeply appreciated that Mr. Cheng Nong used movies to explain to us some of the paradoxical points of today's liberal schools. In short, it seems to be my "professional disease" that I like to connect movies and politics.

1. Is the mad king crazy?

This mad king, as the poster shows, is bohemian, at least on the outside. He was extremely distrustful of himself, acted oddly, and loved acting and his big dog. He likes to roar, play with other women in front of the queen, stick his tongue out, which makes people feel extremely immature. Therefore, it seems possible to give him a definition called "crazy".

Whether the king likes it or not, I think that's a question. After Wang didn't seem to like it, it was just a task that had to be completed for him, and the bridal chamber, and the birth of his son seemed to indicate that this task was over. The two have been strangers since then.

But before setting off for a tour of Europe, Wang went to the back room to explain the matter. Hou said, "Do you think I would care about this kind of thing?" Wang slammed the door and left, but in his heart, Hou still had a certain place, but of course it didn't have a high depth.

When he heard the "rumours" all over the city, he chose to believe it. When Stearns opened the door, he slammed the table and chairs wildly, "Is she what you want?" "Is she what you want?" ?"

When he found out that the queen was pregnant again, he still showed a happy father, and the same was true when the child was born. He is not a person with absurd and illogical behavior, he also has feelings, he is crazy on the surface, but not crazy at heart, stupid on the surface, but not stupid at heart. It's just that his heart, ability was imprisoned, Stearns helped him open, and he began to implement some bills to reform. But in the end, Stearns knew him too well, and he also needed to cover up the affair with the queen. Wang still became a participant standing by, or just a bystander.

Ironically, even though the old nobleman put Stearns to death, the king was one of the signatories next to the old nobleman and went to play with his little black Dutchman.

When I thought the king was like that, in the end he would get nothing, a victim of a political power struggle, or a tool for each party to gain his own power. But the final ending seems to make me feel different. Wang is not stupid. In the end, he helped his son to stage a coup, seize power, and began to restore Stearns' reform measures, so that Denmark, which had returned to the Middle Ages, began to reform again.

2. The imperial doctor's ability to govern the country is

an ordinary doctor, but he is loved by the king, and he has accepted the ideas of the pioneers of the Enlightenment such as Rousseau and Voltaire. Is a reformed courageous former, if he can enter the political circle. However, Wang's appreciation made him really step by step, from a listener in parliament to become the central decision-maker of the country. He actively promotes reform and leads Denmark in a forward direction.

The power of thought was great, and Denmark then became a bright star in the West.

But unfortunately, he fell in love with this beautiful and lonely woman. They seek pleasure in their sensuality, but above all they like the same mind, they are equally concerned with the lives of the Danes. They are both born politicians, born reformers. They all draw nourishment from thinkers such as Rousseau, Locke, and Voltaire.

But this forbidden love is really like the story Lambert told. Later, the king executed the queen and the man with whom she had an affair. In the end, Stearns went to the guillotine, although he was forgiven by the king before he died. . When he really faced death, he was afraid, because, he thought of Carolina, and their children. He shed tears. As a suppressed politician, he died without fear, but as a woman's lover, he was nostalgic.

In the end, he was beheaded anyway, and the kind of miracle I was expecting that might happen ended up not happening in history or in movies, and politics is brutal.

Politics is sometimes helpless. Stearns opened up the freedom of speech and the press, but the problem was that when the rumors about him and his post went viral all over the country, all kinds of imaginations and interpretations appeared in all kinds of newspapers and periodicals. He has had to go through censorship. This is a helpless move, but how can the people consider how much your reform means to the progress of the country? It is because of your reform that we can have the freedom of speech and publication. Now "you" will be subject to this kind of free society. Condition because you have done immoral things. The behavior of any politician will not be taken into account, and people will not have time to consider it. Politics sometimes went back and forth in this process, but this had a lot to do with the centralization of power in Denmark at that time. But even in a democratic society, such occasional back-and-forth is common.

3. An extraordinary woman

This is not a simple woman. Married from England to Denmark, she was full of yearning for her married life at first, hoping to realize the happy life in the heart of a girl. But the grotesque Wang couldn't accept it. She felt that there was a strange smell on him, which was disgusting. She ignored the king, and in the palace, she was lonely, she had no friends, and the books she wanted to read had been censored and could not be brought in.

The appearance of Stearns changed her life because she could see the same hobbies as herself. Rousseau's The Social Contract brings them close. The strong emotional exchange between the two in that dance made them both identify each other's feelings, and this hormone began to spread in the space, and this was the beginning of a new inner life. Stearns seems to be indulging with Wang at first, a person who is emotionally debauched or unscrupulous. But Stearns actually fell in love with Carolina, you can see the solidity of their love.

After being a thoughtful one, she asked Stearns to encourage Wang to reform, and she believed that Stearns was powerful for the king. She began aggressively promoting smallpox vaccinations. She has a free mind and soul, and she pays attention to the hardships of the people. When she felt her time was running out, she started writing letters to let her two children know. And they put the future of Denmark on them, hoping to bring a bright future to the Danish people. Her wish came true.

4. Despicable lies

in politics Politics is always full of lies, and what you want may not be fulfilled. The duke, who was in debt, finally listened to the "slander" of the old nobleman and told the king that the queen and Stearns were planning to kill the king. He can be said to have made a lot of contributions, but in the end he got nothing.
In politics, it is not uncommon for people to use all kinds of lies and deceive the public in order to seek power. Human desires are often fundamental.

At the end of the article, I still think this film is very good. I feel the political trend of thought during the Enlightenment period. At the same time, I also feel sorry for this episode of love. After Stearns died, the queen's roar, her expulsion, and her dying life. I hoped that the children would come to see her, and finally they read their hearts, and I kept crying. Maybe it's poignant love, maybe it's all kinds of things that blend politics and love in my heart.

European movies are always full of charm and deep meaning. In my humble opinion, they are much more valuable than any Hollywood blockbuster. This is a valuable movie, and I have gained a lot from watching it for more than two hours. . It also sparked my urge to learn more about the history of Denmark. I hope to be able to continue to supplement the film knowledge of Northern Europe, which is a land of elegant, beautiful and mysterious films.
