Expectations are too high, disappointments are too great

Reading the introduction is still quite attractive to me, but after reading it, I feel that the introduction is too exaggerated, and it is not as scary as it is written. The legendary "the opening shot by the Italian horror film master Argente is simply super scary", which is completely nonsense.

Watching this film, I have always felt very depressed, and I don't like this kind of weird school built in the deep mountains and old forests in the film. It is easy to see things at a glance.

The heavy rain at the beginning of the film made me think that the taxi driver looked at the heroine with strange eyes, as if he would do something to the heroine, but I didn't expect to arrive so safely. When the teacher introduced the heroine to other classmates, I felt that there would be some exclusion among classmates, but I didn't expect it.

This film talks about witches, in fact, I believe in the existence of witches and magic. The heroine was very lucky. She didn't eat the medicine dinner on the night when the school bosses planned to kill her. She broke through the witch's lair in one fell swoop, killed the witch, and the head of the school died. burnt.

Before this, there are several details that can be seen that the head of the school has a problem:

1: At the beginning, when the police investigate the time when the girl left the school, the heroine interjected and said that it was eleven o'clock. The head of the school was very nervous, but heard She said the same time as she said, and was relieved.

2: The head of the school wanted her to live in the school, but the heroine was unwilling, so someone warned her that she was too stubborn. Not long after that, she fell ill with magic and was inexplicably ill. Others could see that her face was not good, but the head of the school smiled and deliberately let her continue dancing until she fainted and her seven orifices were bleeding.

3: After she woke up, the head of the school said that her luggage was taken by a certain girl, but I think it was the school who forced her to live on campus.

4: The head of the school rushed into the classroom and told the blind pianist that when his dog bit someone, he was obviously laughing, and he was laughing when he chased him away. Didn't the classmates see it? Laugh so weird. It was obvious that he was deliberately driven away.

5: The notebook left by the previous girl who was killed was stolen.

6: On the last night, the heroine was left alone at the school, and the other students were sent to watch the ballet performance. No one told her about it, because the head of the school did not give her the tickets on purpose.

I personally think it's a bit fake: the
movie uses a lot of blue and red light, which has a strong visual impact, but how is it possible in reality? The light, without blinking an eye, is a bit fake.
The hostess poured the red wine into the sink, washed it with water and wiped it with her hands, but did not wash it off. Is this what red wine is like? How it looks like paint.
And the blood in the film is too bright, this blood is too fake.

Questions that are not clear:

1: Why does the head of the school wake up the witch? Wake her up for what?

2: There should be a lot of students in this school who died. Wouldn't the police have suspicions?

3: Since the witch is so powerful, she just hangs up after being inserted by a weak girl?

4: In a section of the film, maggots are produced by the decay of the food on the top floor. Is this really just a matter of delivery? No special meaning?

5: The mysterious man in the film killed several girls. Who is he?

6: After the heroine fell ill, the doctor gave her a menu. There was only a glass of red wine and a piece of something like fruit, and a small bowl of soup. There was something else that I didn’t know. Is this enough for people to eat at night?

7: The witch used her power to kill the girl who knew the existence of the witch, and also killed her good friend, because she had been tracking down the witch, both of which are understandable, but why should the witch control that? What about a guide dog who killed a blind pianist?

Personally, I think this film ends like this, it is not enjoyable at all, and there is suspicion that something hastily happened. The heroine kills too fast.

Akira Kurosawa of the West! The use of long shots, stage-style sets, and bright tones. The eerie music brings out the shivering emotions! It is indeed a masterpiece of Argento! PS: 2009. Review the supplementary review.

After watching three horror films in the 1970s, I can really feel the pattern of demons and witchcraft, but what is even more frightening is the powerlessness of modern science (medicine or psychology) in the face of ancient evil. Suspiria seems more gothic than the exorcist or Rosemary's baby - although the girl at the beginning is still murdered after escaping, the end still declares victory by escaping the house - think of Rosemary's fear on the streets of Manhattan.

  • Miss Tanner: I had no idea you were so strong willed. I can see that once you make up your mind about something, nothing will change it for you. My compliments.

  • Suzy Bannion: Hey, thanks, my room is really pretty.

Olga: Do you like it? You're sweet, I bet we'll do fine together.

Suzy Bannion: Even if I have the name of a snake?

Olga: Oh, I was just kidding! Don't tell me you're as touchy as Sarah.

    Suzy Bannion: No.
