"Behind the Candlestick"

I've always thought that Steven Soderbergh was overrated as a subjective fact, but I have to admit that several of his biographical films are still well done.

In particular, the soft focus and filters that have been used in recent years form a certain ambiguity with the atmosphere that the film needs, and the pretentious film packaging forms a certain harmony with the characters like the flattened face of Michael Douglas.

Of course, the script provides some humanistic concerns that are worth thinking about in addition to detailing the sadness and weakness of human nature beyond private life. The open-ended acting and chemistry of the two stars are beyond expectations, which are the main factors behind the film's strong visibility.
