"Pride and Prejudice. Pride and Prejudice. 1995 (PLX)" ended.
Except for Mr. Dancy, who was so handsome that he never regretted his face paralysis, except for his inexplicable love being rejected and his glass heart shattered, I actually don’t know how the story started. After taking away the thoughtful, independent and predictable princess, she has lived a sweet life since then.
I remember that when I wanted to read the paper book "Pride", it was precisely because the preface mentioned that the five girls in this family had different personalities and different fates. I was curious and also made a reference for my own life. Although the story is almost forgotten now, but with the reminder of the bbc mini-series, I can still think of some things.
Like "Emma", this drama also has a rush that I hate. A lot of things happen in a hurry. It may also be because I wish the director and screenwriter could put the original work on the screen verbatim. So I still don't understand why Darcy fell in love at first sight, his flat-angled eyes never let go of her, and his thin, parallel lips endured such a secret love that he himself was not optimistic about. Note that it is "secret love"! I was shocked when Jane said the word! Darcy's indifferent and arrogant appearance gradually shattered under the silent recitation of "I must conquer it, conquer it", which also made countless girls in front of the screen feel a pain in his heart. Then he suddenly bumped into his sweetheart when wet, he was incoherent, he dressed in a hurry to stop the car that was about to leave, and he became amiable and praised with a shake of his head. Maybe he has a pure nature, maybe he has a noble upbringing, maybe he was born with kindness, but in Jane Austen's writing, such a completely first male protagonist completed a gorgeous turn under the supervision of love in an instant.
I really believe more and more that Aunt Qiong Yao is not fighting alone!
As for the accolades that many critics have come after Jane Austen for her versatile writing and portrayal of characters, it is hard to deny. After all, TV shows and novels can always express different focuses. I liked the novel and I liked the TV series, but I forgot why I liked it.
Maybe love is also indisputable. The attraction between two people may be because of that pair of beautiful eyes, or because of a mansion in Bloomberg, so these people we don't understand shouted along, this is the magic of love.
