Please don't sympathize with him easily

There is no way to understand his paintings without reading his biography.
I just want to say that his natural outspoken and enthusiastic character, his crazy love for life, and his pursuit and persistence in his own value are destined to become a great artist.
His innocence kept him frustrated, and his artistic attainments became higher and higher.
I admire his perseverance and focus, and admire his tireless pursuit of art.

After reading a lot of comments, there are so many people who sympathize with him, and so many people criticize that society.
Yet all I have for him is worship, worship, worship.
He has been doing what he loves to the point of madness.
Regardless of whether he has realized the value of life in the worldly sense, he has always been firmly pursuing his inner choice.
He is extremely happy.
Please don't easily sympathize with him, or criticize the people of that era.
Those who have studied a certain amount of art history also know that when an art trend leads the times, it has always been a common thing to tolerate heresy. To be art is to endure. He deserves
all the joy and suffering that he has endured. Because God destined him to be Van Gogh.

Terrible symphony. Oh old movie. I read the book early in the morning, and the movie also presents the biography in a simple way. But the blending of pictures and scenes is still a wonderful experience. Van Gogh is too legendary. His pure sincerity is bound to become a tragedy in such a reality. Purely hurtful.

You're in full bloom but whoever resonates but whoever resonates you should bloom in full bloom it doesn't seem a sad death, 'cause you're home now.

Lust for Life quotes

  • Theo Van Gogh: Hiding away here. Wasting you're time. You've become an idler.

Vincent Van Gogh: An idler. Yes. But there are two kinds of idlers. There's the man who's idle because he wants to be, out of laziness. How easy that is. I envy him. But, there's the other kind. The man who's idle in spite of himself. I want nothing *but* to work. Only, I can't. I'm in a cage. A cage of shame and self-doubt and failure. Somebody, believe me, I'm caged. I'm caged and I'm alone. I'm frightened.

Theo Van Gogh: Vincent, listen to me. When we were children, I used to follow you about. If I was frightened, I'd run to look for you. If I got lost, you'd always come to find me. We're still brothers. We're friends. We can trust one another. That's stronger than any cage.

  • Vincent Van Gogh: When I paint the sun, I want people to feel it revolving, giving off light and heat.
