In 1980, a female doctor wanted to emigrate from East Germany to West Germany in pursuit of freedom. She was punished by the government and exiled to work in a small town's health clinic. Waiting for smuggling, she deliberately kept a distance from her surroundings, thinking that her new life would only start in West Germany.... Well, the sense of distance in this Berlin actress is indeed real enough. When you want to isolate yourself, you should It's the same feeling.
