A baffling murder, a horrific truth. A black military officer was unfortunately murdered on his way back to the military camp in the deep south. At first, it was suspected that he was murdered by white people. However, a strong black lawyer was involved. In the process of causing the accident, it was found that the black officer was not popular with others. Can the lawyer find out the truth and find the real murderer? The film was nominated for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor and Best Screenplay at the 1985 Oscars.
