The story explained that 9 seemingly unrelated people were locked in a room, and a masked uncle let in every ten minutes to kill someone until everyone found out why they were arrested and then let them go and plead guilty to the police
again. After sorting out the timeline, you can know the reasons for everyone's arrest (characters are marked with 1~9).
An ordinary student (1) borrowed 5,000 dollars from a loan shark (2) to sell drugs but was caught by an undercover agent. After being released from prison, in order to repay the loan shark money, he bought a pair from a robber (3) and robbed the supermarket. After the incident, the lawyer (4) found an unreliable Chinese woman (5) and made an unreliable witness certificate, and used her lover, a Los Angeles police officer (6) to exchange key evidence for China The woman's testimony becomes plausible. Let the masked uncle's son be wrongfully imprisoned... Later, the student confessed to the pastor (7) because of his guilt. The pastor knew the real murderer but chose to keep it a secret due to the pastor's conduct. After the masked uncle's son was imprisoned, he was infected with AIDS by a pervert (8) who threatened children. After Uncle Mian's son was released from prison, he hoped to participate in an AIDS medical program to prolong his life, but was rejected by an insurance company employee (9) due to his criminal record and bad insurance record, and finally died of AIDS. Then the masked uncle planned to kidnap the above nine people for two years
. The highlight of the movie is actually the ending. The masked uncle killed 6 of the 9 people, but at the last minute everyone still figured out why they were arrested. . The masked uncle kept his promise and gave the key to the lawyer, but the lawyer grabbed the gun and killed the masked uncle and the remaining two survivors, the police and the insurance salesman, for fear of perjury. Then the police arrived as expected. But after that, it seemed that the director's skills were not enough, causing everyone to misunderstand and have two interpretations of endings. The
first is that the masked uncle kept his promise and called the police to surrender. By mistake, the lawyer's murder was exposed.
The second kind of masked uncle sees through the lawyer's meeting early in the morning and finally kills, so it is estimated that he only gave the key to the lawyer and abducted her to kill. and called the police ahead of time.
However, in both interpretations, the lawyer must have been properly arrested in the end, because in the title, you can see the surveillance video of the whole process.
The story ends abruptly with the lawyer staggering out of the room and the police searching for the murderer outside the room. It's as if you found out that your faucet was bursting, and you waited so hard for the plumber to find out that the water was out! And the plumber is a foreigner. You don't know how to explain your water pipe burst. One second is vigorous and the next is silent. . You still think the movie is gone when it's not over! ! ! If the director is skilled enough, the ending is the finishing touch, but it feels a little bit of a failure.
In fact, I feel that the movie is just a finished product, and there are no details in many places. The story would have been good because each of the nine had completely different backgrounds and experiences. It is a good framework to find the truth of things from seemingly unrelated lives, but after reading it, it is inevitable to complain about the screenwriter!
First:
Among the nine people, like the pastor and the insurance sales staff, all did what they were supposed to do in their profession. The pastor, in particular, behaved like a good young man with only God in his heart! If you don't mean to harm others at all, you will arrest them and kill them. Uncle masked, you are really cruel. . .
Second: every time the masked uncle kills a person, he whispers a few words in his ear to let them know why they were arrested. Then everyone said, "Damn it, it's because of this, why didn't I find out just now, I deserve it and I deserve it" It is this point that has been driving the development of the plot, making everyone keep wondering what they did and keep watching go down. But after reading the whole picture, you can't help but say, fuck it! ! ! ! This Nima is more than just a fool! ! ! Take that robber for example, you have done everything in burglary and murder. In the end, the masked uncle came to kill you and said that because you sold a gun, you felt that you deserved it for Mao! ! ! Are you funny! ! !
Overall, the movie is worth watching, but you can't go back and think about it! ! Too much ranting
