When I was bored, I read the short story of Nine Knives, which mentioned this film, and the boredom continued to spread, so I came to watch it.

The cutest person in this movie is of course the heroine's father. His stubbornness and love for his family are lovely, and his pride in his own nation makes me admire him. Greece is the birthplace of Western civilization, of course there are reasons to be proud of being a Greek. As for China, we also have a long history, a splendid civilization, a prosperous time, and now it is quite a big country, but how many Chinese people have such pride and self-confidence in front of other ethnic groups? We are inferior to our bones, just because of those hundred years of humiliation? Then why do the Jews, who have been suffering since they appeared, always think that they are the favored sons of heaven, and that their nation, culture, and customs should be respected by anyone?
I am not proficient in history, philosophy, and history of civilization, and I only think about a possible answer to my own question that can convince me.
Our civilization is an agricultural civilization, and what I think is the greatest characteristic of our nation is that it is not combative. When we are strong, we are tolerant and inclusive. For those who respect us, we pay back the courtesy, and we don’t hesitate to give them wealth, material, culture, and knowledge. For those who want to invade us, we are only defensive and take back our own territory. Just stop, unless you surrender automatically, you will never take the initiative to invade.
When it is strong, it is the demeanor of a great country; when it is declining, it is natural to appear cowardly, especially when one second thinks that we are the center of the world, but the next second is told that we are prisoners, the gap and shock make us feel The judgment of our own nation is a bit overkill, and the patriots who mourn their misfortune and are indisputable are adding fuel to the flames. While we as a nation reflect on our inferiority, we have also lost our self-confidence.
As a 23-year-old student who has been living in a small and medium-sized city, has no contact with foreigners, and basically does not watch foreign media news except to practice listening, I naturally do not know what other ethnic groups think of us now, nor do I know the Chinese living in foreign countries. Feelings, I just hope that when confronted with them, of course, I am proud of being Chinese, and with good reason.

The above is a bit big, and treating this movie as a romantic comedy is the most accurate positioning. It once again verifies a sentence: as long as there is enough love, we will definitely be together. This sentence may appear to be more philosophical in reverse: if they are not together, it must be because of lack of love.
A 30-year-old ordinary woman has a group of wonderful relatives, meets Prince Charming, her family disagrees, plus cultural differences, this completely has all the elements of the current popular leftover girl marriage and love family dog blood drama, if the director of a Chinese TV drama comes to shoot It is full of quarrels, misunderstandings, and entanglements. In the end, love may lose to reality.
But in this film, the conflict is turned into joy, because of the sincerity of love. Because of love, the male protagonist willingly made compromises without feeling forced, and happily integrated into this big family, and his parents also gave complete support; because of love, the female protagonist's parents accepted sons-in-law from different worlds. People also welcomed him warmly; because of love, the heroine did not forget her parents' feelings because of love, and she accepted the arrangements made by her family for her wedding, even if it was not what she wanted. Because of love, we tolerate each other, understand each other, and make compromises, and those conflicts that are irreconcilable bluffs become invisible.
