The three laws of robotics

With a somewhat skeptical attitude, the plot from the beginning has the meaning of an elderly partner, but as the plot deepens, I dispel my attitude towards the film at the beginning. The plot is compact and interesting, and the machine has a witty and humorous dialogue. What I did with the old man reminded me of the original Will Smith starring [I, Robot] The Three Laws of Robots: First, a robot must not hurt people, and it must not stand by and watch people get hurt. Robots should obey all human orders, but must not violate the third law of the first. Robots should protect their own safety, but they must not violate the first and second laws. Perhaps ethics are to robots, but at least they are loyal to their masters. This is worthy of appreciation!

Warm, fresh, and slightly sentimental. Great idea, great actors, great jokes.

A warm film with a small scene, the friendship between people and machines, but thinks that the theme is more of the elderly needing the care of their relatives. The old man with Alzheimer's disease, his son sent a robot to take care of him, and planned two thefts together, but the police couldn't find any evidence, so they thought of copying the robot's memory. The ending is open-ended, is the robot formatted memory? The old man asked his son to see the robot garden under tomato, the gem should be hidden underneath

Robot & Frank quotes

  • Frank: Can't you just erase the bad parts?

Robot: My memory is a holographic array. If I lost half of it I'd still have every memory, just in half the resolution.

  • Robot: After you wipe my memory things can go back to normal and you can continue planning your next job.

    Frank: What did you say?

Robot: Remember Frank, your next job. You deal in diamonds and jewels, the most value by the ounce. It's not too late, Frank. Don't give up. Lifting that high-end stuff, no one gets hurt. Except those insurance company crooks.
