Atheism's Heartfelt, Swinger's Meditation, Believer's Indifference

I don't think the documentary explores the issue deeply. I don't think there is a complete atheist. After all, there are still many unknowns in the world. I don't know what the answers to some questions are, and science has unsolvable problems because of the boundaries of the times. But religion can give me a very simple and clear answer: because God (God, Allah...) prescribes it.
The problem with this documentary is that his position, if viewed from the perspective of an atheist, will undoubtedly be hearty, and feel that he has spoken his heart. But if you stand on the swinger's point of view, it will be a difficult choice, because the reason why the swinger swings between religion and atheism is because of fear, ignorance, facing science, facing problems that atheism cannot solve , hesitating and hesitating, so becoming a believer can understand. The staunch believers don’t care about this kind of documentary. The one who impressed the most was the builder of the God Museum. He said, “Because he is God, so so, are you God?” Bill Maher couldn’t answer, he could only helplessly Shaking his head and saying: "no" This may be the crux of the matter, and the meaning of religion's existence.

Anti-religion is an interesting topic. But it has to be more rational and logical, otherwise the firepower is really not strong enough.

Religulous quotes

  • Tal Bachman: [an ex-Mormon] In the founding scriptures, you open the doctrine covenant, you read the autobiography of Joseph Smith. He quotes Jesus Christ as telling him that every other creed on Earth is, quote, an abomination. That's not a very ecumenical statement.

  • Bill Maher: The idea that Christianity is American, I think, is an amazing entitlement to a people who are always trying to meld God and country.

Bill Gardiner: The Garden of Eden was in Missouri, according to Mormonism. The new Jerusalem will be there.

    Bill Maher: Branson, I hope.
