what's in your dream box

The heroine, Liz, reminds me of Diane Lane from another favorite movie, "Under the Tuscan Sun," both divorced American women who came to Italy for vacation. The difference is that the latter was divorced because of her husband's derailment, while the former filed for divorce by herself.

A woman, a well-known writer herself, and a lawyer husband who loves him, has no worries about food and clothing, and has a seemingly perfect life, but she even filed for divorce, which looks like her own tossing.

But there was one episode that touched me. She said she had a box about her dreams. Inside was every issue of National Geographic and the travel edition of The Times, places she wanted to go all her life.

Every girl has a dream box. My box contains postcards, attraction tickets, maps and travel tips that I collected after traveling to each country. I keep a collection of maps of places I've been to, thinking about someday I'll be able to go back there and take a look. I also collect travel editions of many newspapers and magazines, and I look forward to one day being my travel guide. But life has too many tedious things to deal with. I always keep my beloved box in the corner of the cabinet and don't spend too much time taking care of my dreams.

And Liz, after the divorce, had time to take care of her dreams, went to Italy, India, Bali, and completed her journey of food, prayer and love.

There are always comments that Liz is married, a middle-aged woman, and has a carefree life. This is really pretentious and foolish. But there will always be all kinds of problems, troubles, and confusions in life.

So no matter how worry-free and happy life looks on the surface, when you encounter emotional problems, you still need to find an outlet. You can rely on a lover, talk to a friend, or even hide in a corner and cry, but in the end it is you who have to face the problem, and only you can help yourself find your inner peace.

Most people choose to live with their problems and continue to live with tolerance, looking forward to the day when everything is OK, which is good, and Liz chose to leave, which is also true. Everyone has the freedom to choose the life they want.

Liz went to Italy to enjoy food, went to India to practice, and finally found another love in Bali. Although it seemed like a circle back to the origin, the experience of that circle made her happier and allowed her to live the life she expected.

Will she be happy from now on? Maybe, maybe this relationship is just another piece of her homework. What seems to be a mess, the key is that she has been working hard and has never forgotten her dream.
