Movies that remake comics are usually prone to tragedy. After all, the mood in the comics is difficult to restore with real scenes, and this movie is one of the remakes with a very low sense of disobedience. Except for Kaoru's hairstyle that seemed to look normal at the end, and Miss Gao He was too tender, all the characters were basically in line with the original.
The selection of actors is very good. Uncle Saitoichi Eguchi is very aura, and he deserves to be in the Shinsengumi group; Kaoru of Takei mm is not particularly outstanding, but he also brings Kaoru's tenacity to the performance. And Kenshin's usual childlike smile and determination when killing people are doing well.
The action scenes are handled very well, highlighting the speed of Jianxin Feitian Yujian flow and the strength of multiplayer battles. The action design restores the comics to the greatest extent. My favorite is the scene of assassinating Xuedaiba's fiancé. The night, the deep alley, the falling of winter plum petals, and the ups and downs of the mood are all handled very delicately. It's a pity that classmate Ba only showed a back.
The plot of the movie is basically a mix of reminiscence chapters, soul-suppressing songs and star frost chapters. For those who are familiar with Rurouni Kenshin, it seems to be very emotional. The most important thing is to be faithful to the original work. Back in the day, when I read the reminiscences, I cried every time I watched it. I think everyone who loves Kenshin will find this kind of movie enjoyable.
