The boy was a mediocre and innocent boy, just like any street person. Like thousands of children from single-parent families, some are lonely, some have nothing to do, and some cannot understand the illusory facts in front of him. In Gus Van Sant's film, the mood and light and shadow of Psychedelic Park have many similarities with The Elephant and The Last Days. I love this movie because the secrets arise without warning, but linger. His stories are always so slow, so beautiful, revealing so naked loneliness. I like his light and photography. No matter how cruel the story is, it only happens to people. The world always moves forward in a fair and just manner, and the beauty remains the same.
