At the end of the movie, the young man who was forced to stumble into a desperate situation instinctively shouted "Mom", and the ronin incarnated as Thirteenth Lang shouted: It is better to have porridge than to die. Young people run away.
When I go home for the New Year, my hometown seems to be in such a predicament. Whether young or middle-aged, everyone sees the sweetness of drinking blood with a knife and begins to abandon the inherent rhythm of life. Since the loan usury collapsed, all kinds of rumors from classmates, friends, and acquaintances have spread, that someone in the past has been hanged, so-and-so has been killed, and there are so many people who escaped and disappeared. The mystery endows this festival with a rare cool color, the sound of firecrackers and the snow has hidden too many desires and conspiracies that no one wants to see.
The ronin at the end said that everything in the town will be fine, although I don't believe it, but I hope so, even if it gives those defeated people a chance to go home and drink porridge.
