Kaoru and Kenshin

I couldn't resist the urge to write a movie review. After watching a good movie, if I don't share my feelings while it's hot, I'll leave regrets when it cools down.
Like novels, there are two types of movies, one wins with plot, and the other wins with characters. This film belongs to the latter, the plot is simple, the story follows the old routine, there is no touching point to watch, the film is all about the characters. So let's talk about the characters.
This is a story of a swordsman, a killer's redemption, and a romantic love. As far as the film is concerned, I think the whole film has two cores: one is the person Kenshin, and the other is the love between Kenshin and Kaoru. As for the change of Kenshin Killer's mentality, from the moment he decided to seal the sword and stop killing people, it has basically been completed; getting to know Kaoru is just the end of his wandering and the beginning of a new life.
Whether it is Fujita or Blade Guard, both pros and cons believe that if you live with the sword, you must die for the sword; the sword of murder has only the beginning and no end. Only Kenshin and Kaoru believe that swords don't have to be blood-drinking, besides killing swords, there are living swords in the world. Just as Kenshin said to Fujita Goro after his duel with Blade Guard, murder creates hatred, hatred incites killing, and it continues, and this period of cause and effect should end. I think of Zhuangzi's "Speaking of the Sword", what Fujita and the Ninja guards chased after each other was nothing more than the sword of the common man; the sword of the Son of Heaven, the supreme sword, secures the country and peace, stops killing and fighting, and makes the people happy. The human sword has already surpassed the narrow understanding of the murderer's kendo.
Although Kaoru is very poor in martial arts, her understanding of swords surpasses that of the sword guards and Fujita who are highly skilled in martial arts. She and Jian Xin are confidantes, and they are the few people who refuse to bow to the times. They hold beliefs, do not argue with the world, and only carry this belief throughout their lives. There are two fates between her and Kenshin: one is the handkerchief, and the other is the same understanding of the sword and the world in her heart.
She is a girl who is dedicated to maintaining the honor of her father's genre. With a wooden sword, she dares to attack Jianxin, a suspected wanted criminal. She is full of justice and does not hide her scheming, and when she sees a dead policeman falling from the bridge, she dares to drink the blade guard. She is a girl who wants to save face. She was saved by Jian Xin, and she insisted that "although I want to thank you, even if you don't help me, I will be fine." She even went to the well to lift a bucket of water to prove that her arm This little wound is fine; Jian Xin laughed, and so did I, "It's better to deal with the wound as soon as possible." She couldn't cook, and scorching the fish attracted Yahiko's ridicule, laughing at her not being able to marry, being a master, and being helpless when his apprentice saw through his daughter's thoughts.
She has poor swordsmanship, and when she first met Jian Xin, she shook her body a few times and she couldn't even find her opponent. Although this shot is outdated, I didn't expect the director to use it here in an ingenious way. There is no need for other pictures, this one shot alone made Kaoru leave a deep impression on the audience, and all the personality characteristics of this character were instantly understood.
In the face of the thugs who came to smash the field, Jian Xin suddenly appeared like a knight and said a sentence, which vaguely foreshadowed that he would never leave the Shengu Dojo in the future: "Indeed, what the lady said is that she has never soiled herself. Only people with two hands can say innocent words. Swords are murder weapons, and swordsmanship is a trick to kill. No matter how beautiful or indescribable words are used to decorate it, it is always the truth, but compared to this fact, I prefer what Ms. Kaoru said. Naive words." This last sentence impressed me the most when I watched the anime, and I wrote it down as a famous quote. After listening to Ken Xin's words, Kaoru was quite shy, lowered his eyebrows and lowered his head, as if he didn't like the innocent words that Miss Kaoru said, but rather Miss Kaoru.
Sato Takeshi is a handsome guy. The Kenshin he plays is very consistent with the anime. He is not aggressive, flat-faced, indifferent to the world, lazy and easy-going. After watching a few scenes, you can see his character:
Scene 1: The first time I saw Kaoru, I was misunderstood, pretended not to be skilled in martial arts, was knocked down by her, crawled off the ground and said with a smile, "I'm a wanderer here, a wanderer who travels the world. The swordsman." Every man probably hopes that one day he will be able to say this in a dashing manner, let alone to a beautiful woman.
Scene 2: After a fight with the thugs who occupied the dojo, he was locked in a cell. He sat cross-legged, with his gloves wrapped around his sleeves, leaning against the wall and dozing off, not caring about his situation. The cell leaked rain and was woken up. He took a bowl to pick up this water column and then another water column, like a child playing, and finally tired, put the bowl under the nearest water column and moved it towards the corner of the wall. Move on to sleep. Those who saw this calmly imprisoned scene thought of Wen Tianxiang and the "Song of Righteousness" he wrote while in prison. A scribe, a swordsman, all have a calm and calm nature, and can give and give.
Scene 3: When Kaoru's life is in danger, he rushes from the bridge and rolls to the ground to save her from the blade of the blade guard. Released her arms, she stared at him blankly, I thought he would say that you are alright, or that he was speechless for a while, but he happily took out the handkerchief and handed it over, "You forgot something". There is no taste of escape from the tiger's mouth at all, and no strong enemy behind him is in his eyes. He simply came to return the handkerchief, and he only had this one thing in his mind, as if the other things around him happened in another parallel time and space, and had nothing to do with him. I like this scene where the hero saves the beauty, because the hero has no intention, so it is precious. The blade guard released the sword energy in his eyes to attack. He realized that this was a master, and the police were about to arrive at this time. He took Kaoru's hand and fled. He was even more panicked than the woman. In sharp contrast.
Scene 4: At a beef hotpot restaurant, Guanliu dumped him with loose money, and he slowly picked it up and folded it and put it at Guanliu's feet. His bowl was turned over by Guanliu, his face did not change, and he behaved freely.
Scene 5: Kaoru introduced to Yahiko that he would live in a dojo in the future, Yahiko proudly raised his head and stretched out his hand to him and said, "Then I am a senior brother", he immediately crossed his sword with his left hand, half squatted and stretched his right hand to hold Yahiko "Thank you very much. care". Yahiko didn't expect this senior brother to come so easily, and was a little stunned for a moment.
