I like it very much, beautiful, really European-style literary film

This is one of my favorite movies from 2012. Except that I don't like the heroine's skinny figure, everything else is fine. The narrative of the story, the performance of the scene, and the portrayal of the characters are really rare literary films. In particular, the director watched the film from the perspective of an Englishman, which is very different from what China has thought for a long time.

1. Description of Anna: Influenced by certain thoughts, the public generally regards Anna as a model who yearns for freedom and longs for freedom. Even her tragedy is said to be caused by capitalist society. But, the truth is, Tolstoy was a Christian, he had a wife all his life, and he was actually quite conservative in that regard. Even in his later years, he quarreled with his wife to the point that he was reluctant to meet, and he did not abandon his wife. Carefully read the original text, the author is sympathetic to Anna, but it contains a layer of meaning, you have to respect marriage, don't forget your responsibilities for the sake of selfish speech and freedom, and in the end, it will not end well.

2. The description of Anna's husband. It is different from our Chinese consciousness. The Chinese interpretation is: old-fashioned and hypocritical. I was wondering, in fact, how many men in China can stand the bird's-eye of their wives stealing people? Wife steals people, swallows this bird breath silently, is it still called old-fashioned? Call it hypocrisy?
What I saw in this man was tolerance and forbearance. This is how it is described in the book. When Tolstoy described him, it was this man who was full of tolerance, Christlike. Isn't the movie just what the original book was supposed to show?

3. The performance of the stage play. This is great love. I teach classical music. This tune is exactly what I want. Beautiful but not contrived, different stage background changes, not only not abrupt, but more charming.

All in all, love. And, I urge everyone, when reading the original book, do not take the outline given by the teacher or teaching material in the previous Chinese class to read it, understand everyone with your heart, put yourself into the book, and let yourself feel it. There must be a different experience!
