About growth, about trust

This movie was watched during class, and there was not enough time, so everyone spontaneously stayed to watch the movie. When I first saw the name of the movie, my classmate asked me what it meant, I said second-hand lion, and everyone laughed. I watched half of it with doubts and didn't understand what it had to do with the title, thinking that the title was just a metaphor. When the story ends, I finally understand that this is indeed a metaphor. Two uncles, one is warm and the other is cold on the outside and rich on the inside. The plural lion refers to uncle Hub and Garth, two people who are old but still have power.
It is also a story of growth and trust. Don't know how other people feel, but after the boy later heard stories that seemed incredible and found wealth, I was always afraid that the stories were a hoax and the boy was disappointed. When the grandson of the last chieftain appears, the whole class is whispering, and the seemingly magical story turns out to be true.
What we don't know is what the boy's mother made in the end. After a long discussion with a friend, the elderly American lady said she thought the boy's "Make a decison for me" meant to let him go back to be with his two uncles. And I'm stubborn that boys want to be with their mothers. A lot of times, it teaches us more when we don't have it.

[Related memory] The other day, you said you want to see a movie.
I said, secondhand lions is great.
You said, you know what is strange? My father just recommended it to me.
I answered, maybe your father and I had more common topics to talk.

These stories about choosing to believe will always be touched by one truck after another and hit the heart. All kinds of fields, shooting, fishing, gnawing on corn... In ordinary daily life, feelings are accumulated for later outbreaks. I just didn't expect that there is really a lion, or a second-hand hehe. I really want to hear that "What every boy needs to know about being a man" speech! The end credits are so cute
