For some reason, I haven't and I don't plan to read it completely. If there is something wrong in the following, I hope you will correct me and understand. In addition, many opinions are very subjective, don't spray if you don't like it.

The movie is nearly 90 minutes long, but the plot is well understood. The hardware of the movie and the performances of the actors are all very good. After watching it, I just feel depressed for a while, which is a feeling of deja vu. For the heavy taste of LZ, no matter whether it is a murder or a horror movie, this movie does not have any violent scenes, but it is shocking enough, but I personally really hate such stories. When I say this, I It is really helpless.
The last time I felt this way was some time ago, with Fabinstadt's previous work, "Lake Eden," and I wanted to put the two films together. Because the two have a lot in common. For example: they are all based on real crime events, there is only one clue in the whole film, the plot is getting darker and darker, and I have the same symptoms after watching it - chest tightness, etc.
In fact, there are several similarities, let's focus on them. One is that the box office of the two films is very poor (the specific figures are from professional box office websites), and it must be stated that I am only stating a fact. It's hard for me to tell what their director made this kind of movie for? Because business is not business, and literature is not literature. Maybe they just want to express some of their thoughts? Uh, well, my level is limited and I can't figure it out clearly.
The second is that the story that can be told in more than half an hour is stretched and put into 90 minutes. I feel that many lines and scenes can be replaced by more concise methods. I remember Mr. Lu Xun said when he was talking about writing an article: If you can make it clear in one sentence, you don't need two. Although it is closer to life, it greatly reduces the viewing experience, and it is easy for people to lose interest quickly. Individual plots lack inevitability, so I saw a small number of viewers write bad reviews and complain about how stupid the characters are.
The third is the setting of characters and the transmission of ideas. The villain in "Eden Lake" is a group of 10-year-old bad boys, and the villain in "Obey" is a white-collar worker? what is this else? Sorry, I really don't want to open that video anymore. In short, it is a general employee of a certain unit. What was their motive for committing the crime? The delinquent starts off by acting unfriendly, extremely uneducated, stealing the protagonist's car and package, and then attempting to kill. White-collar workers have nothing to do with a prank to adjust their mood? The motivation is not necessary, it is just inexplicably creating a tragedy. This setting is very unfortunate. I personally hate this kind of "low-level bad guy" who is only bad for the sake of being bad, and in the end, he is not punished. So what kind of thought does the film express? Is it just exposing an ugly phenomenon? In that case, we can simply watch the news on the Internet. In fact, these two films have nothing to tell the truth, and there are too many useless things. Relatively speaking, I prefer to watch films like "I Spit on Your Grave" or "Murder Regardless", at least the protagonist's use of violence to control violence can be recognized and followed by the audience.
There are a lot of "nonsense words", and this sentence is not bad. I think "Eden Lake" and "Obey" are both failures from a purely cinematic point of view, at least I don't like the way they tell their stories, except for the ending, everything can be guessed from the front.
