Right from the start, I wasted brain cells on Bill's pan-philosophical dialogue and Brandy's Oklahoma accent, until the deranged dentist had a nerve-racking blowout.
To be honest, I didn't understand. This movie seems to have a certain threshold for viewing. Without understanding the culture of the American South and American poetry (at least Whitman), it is difficult to understand what the director really wants to express.
Norton is of course still wonderful.
