Bernie is a magical being, he fascinates almost everyone in Carthage, like a bunch of "madmen", he is a paradox, their relationship is far from love, maybe they are only together because of a lonely other A too weak and good-natured man, so happiness turned into tragedy.
The film does not reflect too much on Marjorie's arrogance and arrogance. In one scene, she ignored Bernie's rehearsal and ordered him to come back. She had a big quarrel with Bernie because she drove out a worker. She jumped and stomped like a child. "I'll never let you go" with tears in her mouth.
Marjorie, as the saying goes, hateful people must be pitiful, she is a poor childish old lady who doesn't know how to get along with others, insecure and suspicious, but it's a pity that even Bernie, who is not very good-natured, I can't stand her. After all, she is not a relative. After all, there is no blood and blood relationship. Even relatives have no patience to communicate with her, let alone him.
Then again, Marjorie is rich, and Bernie can enjoy those comfortable treats while accompanying her, otherwise he could have persuaded her to enlighten her instead of just letting her go. This tragedy was also caused by him, no matter what. No matter how good a person is, there will always be weaknesses. It is human nature. His weakness is weakness and greed for enjoyment. Although it is not as serious as the word implies, this is also the evidence that he was later accused by Danny in court of his greed for money. Rebutted and speechless, he may never have had this concept in his head, but his actions more or less reflect it.
He is guilty and helpless. The
film ends with Bernie walking through with his usual graceful special walk. Fences, he spent the rest of his life for the karma he created, and at the end there were photos of the real Bernie and Marjorie. The old lady in the photo didn't look that hard to approach, she was a lovely old lady
