Southern France,
a less typical French-style immigrant from the bottom. A sudden wheelchair girl.
In the sea of Cannes, together with the rippling waves. Fear, greed, pride, anger, immorality, morality, all kinds of normal human physiological reactions and psychological changes, are cast on the screen without modification. The changes are fast and the logic is clear and reasonable. The characters are full and convincing. The lines are short and every moving voice.
What is rare is that the language of the lens is pure and beautiful. Not flashy but not dull. Shooting Karna or Nice is bright but not bright. fits the theme of the movie.
The performance is full but not exaggerated. The protagonist is adequate.
The whole film is heavy and bright.
And, this is actually a story that combines two novels.
