The US version is still very successful in terms of plot, and may be more rational than the original, and the details are more comprehensive. The actors in the original version are far better than the American version. Although Chloë Moretz and Kodi Smit-McPhee have excellent acting skills, they are still slightly inferior in temperament, especially Chloë, who really doesn't feel vampires when looking at her.
In general, I still recommend the original version. Although the content is dark, it is more intriguing and more like a fairy tale.
This plot is quite in line with the style of European fairy tales, especially in Western Europe and Northern Europe. Although the stories written by Green and Andersen are all for children, they are actually a bit bloody.
