Another romantic light comedy, Leap Year, brings people a relaxed mood in the afternoon! The beautiful Irish scenery is surrounded by the crisp sound of bagpipes. Let's not talk about the plot, the background alone is attractive enough!
Anna went to Dublin to find a boyfriend desperately because she couldn't get a marriage proposal. The bad weather ruined everything she planned. However, how do you say it? A coin always has two sides. A chance encounter with Declan made a wonderful marriage. Although the journey was difficult, they also encountered many beautiful things: the castle, one of the seven wonders of Ireland, friendly Irish couples, tap dancing at the wedding...all in less than two days - It touches the deepest emotions in the heart. When they were picking carrots under the tree, the lush trees behind them were so beautiful, I couldn't help but think of the picture Annie once took of me, the same beautiful set, without any modification or carving... And that last scene , the afterglow of the setting sun is falling, a bit like the end of Keira Knightley's version of "Pride and Prejudice".
It is a pity that this kind of film does not always touch people so deeply. The only thing that makes people tempted is the scenery of Ireland.

Leap Year quotes

  • Anna: You fried my blackberry

Declan: You fried the whole village, idiot!

  • Anna: When my 60 seconds came around i realized i had everything i ever wanted... but nothing i really needed. and i think what i need is here. and i came all this way to see if you maybe think so too. If you do, well... i don't really have plans past that, which is new for me. So, Declan O'Callhan and i should probably learn your middle name, here is my proposal; i propose we not make plans, i propose we give this thing a chance and let it work out how it works out. so what do you say, do you wanna not make plans with me?
