Three villains in one play

Stephen loves his beautiful wife deeply, but his wife's betrayal makes him from love to hate, and finally because of his career crisis and reputation, he has the urge to murder his beloved wife, which is both pitiful and hateful. Emily has a husband who loves her deeply, but doesn't know how to cherish it, so that she falls into the trick of the villain. I think that the murderer in the film refers to her, which is more perfect. Xiao can be said to be the fuse of the whole story, a villain in every way. The film depicts three hateful faces, two of which are obviously exposed, and one is left in pure white sheepskin to earn sympathy.

    Steven: I understand.

David Shaw: [hands him the tab] Be fucking sure you do.

  • Steven: [over a speakerphone with Steven's advisors Nolan and Stein present] In case you forgot Elliot, it's a "zero sum game, I just don't think you got the balls for it.

Elliot: The hell with you Taylor, this time tomorrow neither one of us will have any balls left.

    Steven: Just don't panic.

Elliot: you're damn right I am.

Steven: so what's it to you? You dropped $50 million in a day?

Steven: do you know how fast 50 can become 500?

    Steven: what's the spot rate?

Elliot: you look at it, we're sitting at ground zero and you're telling me to "think happy thoughts"?
