Levin is the real protagonist

I haven't read the original book, but after watching the movie, in addition to the admiration for the movie itself, the digression I want to say is that the human mind can be traversed. If I were to be a character in the movie, I would definitely choose Levin. After reading some background knowledge, I knew that Levin was the incarnation of Tolstoy himself, and I dare not compare it with the great writers. I can only say that I agree with his views a hundred years ago. Not to mention the technical aspects of the film, all kinds of admiration, if nothing else, at least the Oscar costume award is deserved.

Closer to home, my humble opinion is that any art form basically stems from observation and thinking, especially for people. Human nature has hardly changed. Love and hate, sin and punishment, anger and forgiveness, rationality and sensibility, forbearance and publicity, roughness and tenderness have become the eternal themes. In the language of mathematics, everyone is a complex equation, and various human natures are different parameters and weights, but it is by no means as simple as linearity. It may be more appropriate to use fuzzy mathematics. Everyone can choose the weights of the parameters, the equation is constantly changing and has no solution. But I think there is probably an optimized solution. I prefer to optimize in Levin's direction.

In my opinion, Anna and her lover reflect more selfishness and greed. Even if they have a brave and real side, I can't accept them on the basis of hurting others. What I see are two empty souls who only satisfy their desires in the name of "love". Jokingly, if Anna had her own hobbies and pursuits, she wouldn't be fascinated by Xiaobailian. It's sad to have a mindless vase. Even if you marry a good person, you don't know how to cherish it. Of course, I can't criticize others, I can only say that she is pathetic and too beautiful, so the little white face seduces her. It is also a kind of Blessing to look plain. The cruelty of the little white face is undoubtedly shown in the horse racing scene, but Anna can't see it through. Well, every handsome guy is loved by countless people, and people are always easily confused by the eyes. To be honest, at first I thought that the handsome boy's eyes were really beautiful like a starry sky, very charming, but when he looked at it, he felt empty, and even his face became awkward. It's not that I'm too prone to aesthetic fatigue, but I'm just too sensitive to the inside. Anna is worthy of sympathy. If I were her parents, I might give her more education and enrich my mind. But who says death isn't a good ending? When a person has no soul and mind, and does evil things, has a troubled conscience, and even relies on morphine to sleep peacefully, I think that maybe reincarnation is a good way out. When I saw her husband Karenin's innocent eyes, I said, "Anna, can you have a good conscience? Can you sleep at night?" So her suicide showed that she had a conscience. She chose her own path. In fact, she should have closed her eyes and pursued everything she wanted. She should have no regrets. May she rest in peace.

Besides, Karenin, a selfless husband, was able to win many debates in parliament and master state affairs. He was definitely smart, gentle and decent, and he chose to forgive after being hurt. He was really not far from a saint. Why is he not a saint? That's why a wife like Anna was chosen in the first place. For such a brainy person to choose an empty person, it is torture for both. Does he really love his wife? Or in order to conform to the traditions of the time, find a well-matched, outstanding-looking wife who puts gold on her face? The source of the pain may be yourself. No matter how smart he is, he has not surpassed that era and the world. Although, I have full respect for Jude Law's performance and heartache for the phrase "What did I do deserve this?", I still can't give this character full marks. He is not a saint, but a person who abides by the traditional thinking of the time, or a person who lives for face, and he lacks a bit of authenticity.

The role of Kitty is undoubtedly lucky, and I think if it hadn't been for Xiaobai Lian who didn't like her, the ending would have been miserable. Maybe it's not as simple as being lucky, her pure goodness is not the same as Xiaobailian, she is the best protective umbrella, and it is also the origin of attracting Levin. In the end, her recognition and cherishing of Levin further confirmed this. So, I said to my friends, "Thank you to all those who rejected you. They let you be with those who truly cherish and love you."

Anna's brother and sister-in-law represent the state of the public's family in my eyes. They are all ordinary people, and they are prone to aesthetic fatigue and boredom, but no matter whether they are quarreling or cheating, try to calm down and continue to live their lives. Her sister-in-law also said that it wasn't that she didn't want to. Without Anna's beauty, there would be no such opportunity. Maybe living a steady life is the most real part of life. Anna's brother lived very clearly, and he was able to do it with ease. If he indulged himself, he would repent on the surface. At least he kept the surface peace and had a kind side.

Finally, when it comes to Levin, I admire him for transcending that era, breaking the concept of class, working with the peasants, knowing the meaning of life, knowing that the peasants are equal to him, finding peace of mind in a simple life, and even more valuable It is to see the development direction of the times. Emotionally, he is both idealist and rational, condemning the love that is shown to be selfish and greedy, and sharply pointing out that it is animal behavior. Although he was laughed at by the nobles at the dinner table, he had his own perseverance. Only in this way would he choose Kitty, who is also kind and simple. Unfortunately, Kitty's identity is a princess, which will detract from him. Kitty took the initiative to wipe his dying brother, and did not shy away from the low status of his brother's wife, which made this character show the brilliance of humanity. Such a pair is Tolstoy's ideal, and it is also the optimization direction I said. If there's anything to think about in this movie other than flashy scenes and costumes, it's all about Levin. He is the one with the deepest soul, and the real protagonist should be him.
