not disappointing

I want to try to avoid any spoilers to describe the show.
The plot is probably well known.

Is this film going to be an ethical film, without the bizarre exploration and discovery of another Earth on radio and television.

It was really dumb at the beginning. Halfway through the director unsuccessfully attempts to show depression and pain. During the period, there is also a decent discussion of forgiveness and self-redemption. Of course, none of this can obliterate the style of the whole movie and the careful chance to leave a climax in the finale.

So an entire episode of the movie is actually a foreshadowing. The best part of the movie is in the last minute.

I watched it in the school auditorium. The ending song of the scene where the two met. I can clearly hear the sound of a neatly rubbed in the auditorium!

That's enough to describe how we feel.

Another Earth quotes

  • Richard Berendzen: Within our lifetimes, we've marveled as biologists have managed to look at ever smaller and smaller things. And astronomers have looked further and further into the dark night sky, back in time and out in space. But maybe the most mysterious of all is neither the small nor the large: it's us, up close. Could we even recognize ourselves, and if we did, would we know ourselves? What would we say to ourselves? What would we learn from ourselves? What would we really like to see if we could stand outside ourselves and look at us?

  • John's Son: What rhymes with "light"?

    John Burroughs: "Light"?

Maya Burroughs: Oh, that's a good one.
