Thieves--may herald the rise of Korean cinema in the next decade

This movie is definitely recommended! Generally, police and crime movies like to dangle and shoot scenes of gun battles when shooting, which seems to be shocking, but in fact, it is purely for shocking, but there is no concern that it is actually a very smart and cunning idea. The audience actually needs the shock of the ingenious plot, and this movie does it all!
It's surprising that South Korea has been able to make such a level of crime movies. Instead of depicting a very cohesive team working together to steal things, the film is on the contrary, it's a refreshing break from the average hero film! The various details in the movie are interlocked, making the audience exclaim after realizing it: "Oh! That's how it is!" This is success!
The actors are also of high quality! Although I only know Ren Dahua, Zeng Guoxiang, Li Xinjie and Quan Zhixian. But through this movie, I fell completely in love with several other Korean actors. This film shattered my belief that South Korea only has brain-dead soap opera actors, and there are indeed many people in South Korea who can act!
But after watching this movie, there is also something that makes me feel chills, that is, the shooting techniques, screenwriters, and actors' acting skills of Korean movies have begun to catch up with the footsteps of Hong Kong movies. Compared with the trend of Korean movies getting better and better, Hong Kong movies and Chinese movies seem to have stalled a bit or are already going downhill.
Although those film festivals and film awards are biased towards literary dramas, I personally think that action films and police and bandit films can also highlight the economic development and cultural orientation of a place.
