"Saint" interprets God's sorrow

"Saint" is the most popular film that Kim Ki-duk has shot 11 years after "Bad Boy". Those who have watched all of Kim's films should understand his unique style, which vividly portrays the inner struggles and thoughts of marginalized people. The struggle to reflect the sorrow of social human nature, "Empty Room" and "Drifting Room" reveal the bloody scars of society and reveal the nature of human beings. And "Sacred Death" interprets the sadness of human beings who long for freedom but can never truly achieve freedom. Even God is full of sin and cannot be free, so he longs for God's mercy.
