In China, at least in court, there is no such fierce confrontation.
We are an inquisitorial court, and our lawyers are well behaved and honest.
But the source of such grievances is not uncommon in China—
similar to heavy sentences for a few dollars.
As a legal scholar in China, and as a lawyer who wants to work as a lawyer, I
can only express my sadness in my heart, encouragement in my heart, and worship in my heart.
