four versions of anna

This British-French remake of Lao Tuo's famous novel has rekindled my passion for classics.

"Anna Karenina" has been put on the screen many times, and I have seen four.

In chronological order, they are:

1. Black and white Anna, directed by the United States in 1935 and starring Greta Garbo;

2. Black and white Anna, directed by the United Kingdom and starring Vivien Leigh in 1948

; Colored Anna starring Moylova; 4.2012

British-French co-production of a modern version of Anna starring Keira Knightley.

The four films have their own advantages and disadvantages. In theory, it should be the Russians who have a deeper understanding of their own country's works, but maybe I only found the Mandarin dubbed version, and it was filmed in the former Soviet Union. How many actors are there? It's a bit of an accent, and it's also difficult to reproduce the luxurious atmosphere of the aristocratic class in the Tsarist era. I think this version is lackluster and has nothing to highlight.

On the contrary, the two black-and-white films won my favor even more, especially Vivien Leigh, who performed Anna very vividly, and the layout of the bright lines and dark lines in this film is also consistent with the original work, which shows the intentions of the director and the actors.

In 2012, the modern version of Anna's story performed by Keira Knightley, although the scene design is original, can only be said to be only in the shape, not the god, the actor's understanding of the role is not deep enough, the lines It doesn't work well either. It's just that many expressions of the stage play have to be tried in movies. Although it has not been successful, it has to be said that it is a bold attempt to innovate.
