This is a very interesting film about a charming man who fantasizes about himself as Don Juan who is locked up in a psychiatric hospital for treatment, and during his ten days of treatment, he uses his poetic words to tell his doctor Sheng Jack shared a romantic experience in his life.
This is a man who can fascinate all women. He wears a 19th century costume and a mask, and he calls himself the best lover in the world. He seems to be born for love, women like him because he knows how to see the beauty of women, he regards women as treasures, and of course women fall for him. He is like a natural love mad, living in his own romantic hopeless world, and also infecting all the people around him. In the hospital, he not only fascinated the entire hospital's nurses, but even his doctor Jack was addicted to his story, and then reflected on his life and love when he was over 500 years old. He wandered between Don Juan's world and reality, and he was even more willing to believe that Don Juan's way of life was the value of life. He began to date, play games, talk with his wife, and enjoy love and life. The day before he retired, he asked his wife: "I want to know everything about you, all the hopes and dreams you lost for me when I was only concerned with my own affairs." This is really a touching sentence, Don Juan's world tells us when we forget how to love.
At the end of the film, Jack takes Don Juan to the island in his story, and we see Anna in his story running towards him. Who cares about the authenticity of such a fantastic ending? From the beginning we wondered if Don Juan was a lunatic, but in the end we fell with him.
