The most beautiful fairy tale, with my forbearance struggle

With Eggplant's strong recommendation, I finally watched the movie The Fall. I can't help but complain that the resources of this movie are really hard to find. The 2006 movie is not too early, but there are not many posts on Six Dimension, but there are only two of them, but they still can't survive, and using Thunderbolt is also slow. Damn it, my eyes were so hard to see that I wanted to see a clearer one, so I gave up the Puqing version that came from the kind-hearted Lici (Lici you express pia me~). Finally, on a dark and windy night, Google found a usable Thunder membership number and downloaded a 1.7G version. It's hard to say how I feel after reading it, but I still want to leave a mark and give Eggplant a feedback. I hope I can write shorter and faster this time. O(∩_∩)O~
I had a little spoiler when I searched for resources in advance, but I think it has little impact on watching the movie. After all, it is not a suspenseful movie. You can guess the final result if you know the general plot, and this kind of This type of film won't win with plot.
Not being able to tell how I felt after watching the movie could also be because I was rather divided. I can even think of two extreme reviews: if you hate the film, you'll probably say that the plot is simple, the costumes are exaggerated and ridiculous, the story is difficult to scrutinize, and the ending is incomprehensible; The plot is imaginative, the costumes are bright and gorgeous, the story is unpredictable, and the ending is a beautiful metaphor. Coupled with the beauty of Lee Pace and the cute smile of the little girl Catinca Untaru, as well as the simple and touching friendship between them.
It's hard to say which side I'm on, (I'm sorry for eggplant.) But if I really want to choose a side, I'll still recommend everyone to watch it. Because I believe that we are willing to accept that beauty.
(Minor spoilers below.)
Roy Walker has no intention of telling the story to the little girl Alexandria from the very beginning. He has one purpose from the beginning to the end - to attract Alexandria to help him get the medicine. By the way, I really liked his first story about Alexander the Great, the story of throwing the last helmet clean water on the desert for equality. Although I disagree, I like it very much. His story is magnificent and magical. People with different backgrounds and identities share the same enemy and blood. The black slave who lost his brother is reminiscent of slavery; the Indian who lost his wife is like the most girlish romance story; the bearded man who is good at making dynamite is a typical example of power and suspicion; there is even Charles Darwin, I can't help laughing when I see the actor going out of the country. This is too far from the bearded Darwin in my head; oh oh, and Roy himself, the blue-clothed robber, is simply the classic protagonist in the Legend of Ranger !
(How do I have a hunch that I'm going to write longer... 囧rz... So I control my tendency to talk tuberculosis)
In fact, the story Roy tells is very simple, but it is a fairy tale for a five-year-old girl. It doesn't need to be so rigorous and scientific. No matter what kind of deliberation, what you want is to be bizarre, and what you want is to be at will! So Roy thought of where to talk about, former work, former colleagues, hospital nurses, and spiritual trauma, and turned them into the story at his fingertips. Sometimes he forgets, and Alexandria asks after him: What about the explosives? So Roy casually let Beard shoot the fire extinguisher, making up for it without leaving any marks.
For such an unpretentious story, the hidden direction is actually Roy's struggling heart. He has amazing imagination, perfect control, and he can't help but want the little girl to see the cruelty of the world and the deepest tenderness in her heart. He cuts the story to the most interesting and fascinating places, forcing and deceiving Alexandria to help him get the morphine that kills him, and at this time he wants to leave her a beautiful myth. However, when he failed to commit suicide twice, he finally broke down.
The kind and simple Alexandria, she helped Roy steal medicine again at night, unfortunately, it finally happened.
I have to praise the scene transition in the next paragraph - the combination of reality and fantasy, the coexistence of fear and persistence, the coexistence of splendor and darkness, and the coexistence of torture and healing. It seems that all the plots and themes of the entire film are condensed in these short dozens of seconds. Then, Alexandria opened her eyes.
I don't quite understand why Roy kills the people in the story one by one in this situation, maybe he is finally willing to admit that he is actually a coward, everything he tells is just a lie, it looks beautiful, but it is Extremely poisonous. He said it was his own story, was he trying to tell Alexandria that he was not worthy of admiration and love? But with so many things happening, how could the story be only controlled by him? Kind and innocent Alexandria, she changed the ending again.
So it was finally bright.
The movie ends with the people in the hospital watching the movie together. Movies were just invented in those days, black and white and silent. Roy was sitting in a wheelchair with the cute cow-like puppy in his arms, and finally passed the hurdle in his heart. The last is his fall again and again in the movie, but he will never fail again. It seems unbelievable to make up, but I think the ending of such a beautiful film is just a hint that Roy will never be a coward again. He can finally fall again and again, and succeed again and again safely, no longer immersed in the pain of paralysis and lovelorn.
So in fact, many of the shortcomings of this film can be explained.
But there are some things it could do better than the whole thing. For example, the direction of the plot is too simple, Roy's way of changing the ending is too sudden, the point where the two cry is blunt, and the ending of the movie is ambiguous. And the theme of the movie, life? up? Really old-fashioned and vulgar. But why give ourselves such a big burden, we just need to remember some good things, it is enough.

The so-called martial arts is just a fairy tale for adults.
The so-called fairy tale is nothing but the inner struggle of adults.

At the end, I still want to praise the visual effects of this movie, which are very, very gorgeous. I think if I can watch it on the big screen in the cinema, I must feel more deeply. So I quite recommend Li Ci to watch the high-definition version again, it should have a different experience. There is also the beauty of Lee Pace, and he is a handsome guy, but Eggplant said that he does not look as beautiful as in this movie on weekdays? And The Hobbit crew released the stills of the Elf King he played, with more heroic perseverance and some vicissitudes, less clean and beautiful, but I feel that although the Elf Prince Huahua is not very similar to Lee Pace, the young charm is quite appropriate. O(∩_∩)O~

PS: When I saw Morphin, I couldn't help but think, it turned out to be morphine. So, as an NC fan, I immediately thought of the missing The Third Star. I liked the last narration at the end of the film very, very much, and couldn't help but repeat it again:
Let me raise the morphine and toast everyone, if it's my birthday, you are just right When I think about it, please remember, I love you, you have made me live a happy life, my life, without tragedy.
PPS: I wrote this messy movie review in the early hours of the morning, in order to record my own feelings before reading other people's comments. I accidentally wrote too much. I originally planned to finish it in just a few hundred words and at most an hour, but it turned out to be more than 2,000... It's half a cut compared to before, but I still have to pay attention in the future, um.
