Is it a bug that the fingers don't rot?

I don't quite understand why so many people struggle with finger problems. Maybe it's my own misunderstanding. I don't think the finger part is a bug. The reason:
Whose fingers first?
At first I thought it was Mary's mother, because Rose was always talking about Mary's mother, but then I thought it was Rose's finger, because Mary and Mary's mother didn't mention the finger, and Mary didn't tell John that the finger was Mary's mother, if so, It should be in her memory.
That means the fingers are rose?
Is it possible that Rose buried her finger not 30 years ago but now?
It may sound outrageous, but I think it was Rose 30 years ago who knew what was going to happen in 30 years and waited for 30 years to bury her fingers and kill people. But is this even possible?
Everyone should remember that before the last crazy rose came out to cut people, in reality, she had already stepped on it -- the figures of women under the tree.
So is it possible that she will bury her finger in 30 years? This is probably the only explanation that makes sense.
When I personally watch a movie, even if I see a part that I cannot immediately understand and accept, I will try to justify it from the perspective of the filmmakers. After all, it is not easy to make a movie, and minor problems also need everyone's understanding. So I understand the finger part like this, and I also hope that I am correct, so that this movie will have one less bug and a complete one.
Everyone with different views is welcome to discuss together.
PS I watched the original version without subtitles, so there may be misunderstandings, please bear with my comments.
