Fighting Hollywood with good ideas

It is rare to see such a thrilling thriller on the big screen in China. Many bloody scenes are preserved as they are, and these Cult-style elements are very different from Hollywood's big productions. In fact, this is a co-production between Australia and China. It adopts a low-cost format, but the effect is comparable to many Hollywood blockbusters. There are not many big scenes in the film. Except for the computer special effects at the beginning and the end, the rest of the scenes take place in a confined space. Coupled with the surprising 3D effect, the feeling of horror is more prominent, and the scene screams again and again. The script is full of creativity, effectively blending elements of disaster films, thrillers, and drama films into one, without any sense of abruptness. Of course, the shortcomings are also obvious. Some key plots are sloppy, and the logic is not clear. The characters and plot design are quite old-fashioned. But if you think about it, what commercial Hollywood blockbuster does not have these shortcomings? From this successful co-production, we can see that an effective strategy against American commercial blockbusters is not harmful to imitate the characters in the story. The key is to constantly ask for new ideas, which is the most important.
