Movie watching is a game. In this game, for the first 3/4 of the time, the audience does not know a very important rule - voodoo really exists, and the director has always known it. The viewer is equivalent to being suddenly killed by the opponent's director in a knife fight. It seems that in an exam, the test paper given by the audience is 0 points, and the director's test paper is given a basic score of 1 point. Therefore, the film is destined to be surprising from the beginning. Because the director has more grabs than the audience.
