The theme music is great. I have always liked the harp, and I like its noble, soft, and crystal clear sound. Of course, I have been listening mainly to the harp solo and concerto in classical music. This time, the introduction of cartoons is just as pleasant to the ears, and it is a perfect match with the video.
The story is simple and the ideas conveyed are not complicated. Hayao Miyazaki's animated films in his early years tended to have profound themes and mostly discussed the fate of mankind. Since "Spirited Away", they have focused more on the individual's experience of life. In fact, simple truths are often more easily ignored by people, because everyone understands them, so they don't care. The dramatic contrast in the film makes us guess the silent ending from the beginning, but it is this light sadness that makes us linger on. So in life, when faced with various choices, you still have to be open-minded. Some things don't have to be perfect to be the best.
PS: When I first saw Yuka Miura's name, I was very excited. I don't know why I didn't invite Momoe Yamaguchi to dub Arrietty's mother, Hermire, hey...
