I don't know why a lot of people don't like this movie, but I do. It's the only suspense movie I don't get bored of, and it's interesting. This is a suspenseful movie about killing people while analyzing the case. It is mixed with love and study, and maybe there is a basic love, haha. When I watched it for the first time, the focus was on the relationship between Martin and the two women, and I didn't understand much. The second time, I carefully analyzed the plot. Although the final culprit was indeed a ghost with high love, everything that happened in the middle of the story about Martin and Arthur was intriguing.
In the end is the mathematical reasoning of life, or the birth of mathematics. Whether life follows logic or everything is random and uncontrollable. The tit-for-tat confrontation between the two viewpoints is the representative of their thoughts. Their whole reasoning process also drives the plot.

The Oxford Murders quotes

  • Arthur Seldom: Poor old Guy Fawkes was ahead of his time. He tried to blow up the parliament, the king, lords, & the whole bloody government inside. • Yuri Podorov: One day, the Mad Hatter will come out of the closet and arse f**k the lot of you!
